I'm resurrecting a 1969 440 R/T charger, in so looking for some guidance on how large wheel and tire I can safely place under it. I'm looking for some reproduction magnum looking wheels that came on it originally in 17" pr maybe 18'.
I also need to add that I'm using a QA1 both front and rear suspension. Also using the original 8 3/4 rear end
Has anyone out there have some input that may have done much this same direction?

PS i'm not shy with the windshield and roof covered these photos are just how I found it.

Thanks for you help GUYS

I should also add that I'm not looking at Tubing the rear or even mini tub. Trying to figure what will work with out rubbing
Thanks again

Sorry I don't know (i believe so) but I will ask, it is stored at a friends and get back to you if they are 14 or 15

If they are original mopar, they're 14s. Only Ford or aftermarket for 15s.

Imo, your first decision will have to be.... Do you want one piece aluminum, or just 17s/18s made like the stockers, chrome steel rim, welded center.

I'd start looking for a 17x7 with 4"bs for the front, 17x8 or 8.5, with 4.5bs for the rear. 235 for the front, 255 or 275 for the rear.

The 17x8 and 17x9 year one aluminum magnums should fit just fine, they were designed for these cars. No problems on my brother's 67.
I asked about your wheels, either 14 or 15, will be sought after by some here.
