tire presure

going with a new tire combination on my runner fronts are going to be 255/60/15 and rears are going to be 275/60/15 , all for tires are mickey thompson st radials , what sort of presure would you guys recommend to run with car weighs about 3800 lbs

I run 275/60/15s on the rear of my 67 coronet daily driver and 235/60/15 on the front (cooper cobra radials) and I run 40 psi in them.

What does it state on the tire sidewall. Never over inflate a cold tire. Pressure goes up when the tire gets hot, over and under inflation just escalates the problem. Are they mounted on the proper rim width?

Chalk the tire or if you can get a tire temp gauge check it across the tread or weight each corner and ask tire manufacture for pressures

I also run 275/60/15 tires on the back of my 67 coronet and And I determined 25 pounds is about right for me. what I did to come to that conclusion was take a piece of 2 inch masking tape and put it across to tire tread and drove the car down the road and checked the wear pattern for me 25 pounds was even across the tread pattern

I still run the 28-30 all the way around like the old says. 38-40 in the modern Mopars. The chalk is a good idea to check for what is making contact.

You should always inflate tires when they are cold. Never when hot from driving.
