Tires for 73 satellite?

This is going to sound ignorant but I need new front tires for my 73 satellite. The driver door is welded shut, no manual. 15" rims. The old tires were 195 60 r15. But apparently they were not right because a belt broke in one. I'm getting them used because Im broke. I just need to know what size to look for.

Stock tires would have been E78-14(7.35-14) or F78-14(7.75-14). If you have 15s, E78-15 could be replaced with 195-70-15 and F78-15 with 205-70-15. Your 195-60-15s would equal out to a B78-15 or 6.35-15, much smaller than what was stock. If you want to go with a 60 series close to stock, then 215 or 225-60.
