Born in 57. Done all that and lots more. Hasn't killed me yet. Did go to the hospital in my Uncle Gary's 69 Charger R/T while bleeding from various body parts. Wrecked my bike at speed on a gravel/tar road. I was 12, it was a great ride the 15 miles to the hospital, really banging the gears...

At risk of off-topic while piggy-backing your comment...we have become deluged with 'election cycles' they NEVER friggin end in our country! Media spends ALL their time on elections; there is no lapse! Blame? It's the Supreme Court allowing 'corporations are people' (this move was total BS in my view) and super-pac's...there's endless cash in the system today so we're bombarded from left, right, and in-between media 24/7/365.

I agree, that is why there is no cable/satellite in my house, only internet and only what I want to see and hear.

Ya can't blame the dems for our schools when the repubs left them to the dems.
As for corporations being people...they are. It it formed by people and made up of people. Run by people. What is a family? People. A corporation is a family of people. It doesn't and can't do anything without people.

We learned actions have consequences. We learned from experience. We weren't coddled and protected by our parents or society.
If we wanted to play baseball we knocked on doors until we got enough guys to make two teams and went to the park.
