He was an icon. I couldn’t tell you a Lady Gaga song, but I thought it was great they did duets together. It brought a new generation to the past.

I haven’t been a big fan of 60 Minutes in recent years, especially when they do one of their puff piece reports on some past their prime celebrity.
But I have to say I was pretty impressed with their feature on Tony Bennett a few years ago showing him performing with Lady Gaga. Despite having Alzheimer’s, it was amazing that he still perfectly remembered all the words to his songs and could still sing wonderfully.
