Of four possible positions, only one is correct and all four holes line up. And if that is a cast crank motor, a counterweighted converter in the wrong place will knock your fillings out.
On my converters and flex plates, I always put a paint mark on the offset hole in both. ( mopars are kinda famous for bolt patterns with one offset hole. You can find them in converters, flexplates, flywheels, and harmonic balancers.)
In your pic, it looks like it might have a paint mark to the left of the hole in the flexplate.
