Torque converter install tip

I got this tip from FABO. To hold torque converter in place on transmission while maneuvering it around to install, take a 3/8 combination wrench and place the open end against to torque converter and the closed end over one of the dust shield holes. Place the wrench so it is touching the torque converter. Then install one dust shield bolt through closed end of wrench and snug down. This will hold torque converter in place. Did this yesterday and worked great!

Did you put a quart of transmission fluid in the converter prior to installation? 440'
 
Interesting converter with two bolt sizes. What brand?
 
Just making sure we aren't starting wife rumors hahaha....I don't want a pick axe through my hood of my truck some night :eek::D:D:D
