Torque converter recommendation

Winter arrives soon so I put my car to sleep. In the meantime I thought about a new torque converter. My current one is stock and is not in harmony with my built engine. My car accelerates like a one-legged dog off the line till 30mph. Power only comes from kickdowns.
It also hasn’t enough strength to spin the wheels for a burnout.
I have a 310hp 318 paired with the standard 904.
I‘m looking for quick power transfer off the line.
Camshaft‘s peak starts about 3500rpm

Any brand, stall speed, types (lock-up/non lock-up) to recommend for me?

check out the Hughes 27-25 or 27-30.
I have just good experience with these. Unfortunatly these are getting expensive like all the others. I remember the Time when i bought my first for a 727.
It was 309$ 6-7 years ago...
