Just throwing this out there. Just thinking about my cars tranny and noted today's date reminded me to be thankful for the "all mighty 727". Maybe we could drink a toast to a great transmission made by a great company! That's all...........................
Even if it's just another excuse to have a beer, it's never a wasted one! CHEERS!

Ok, I think we are in two different 727 eras, at least given my ride is a pushbutton. (I had a ’73 slapstick eons ago too). IMO, the 727 is iconic, rock hard, durable…legendary given the famous drag racers who preferred then in the early-mid 60’s. MOPAR dropped them after ’64, and one had a ’64 setup put in his ’65 racer to have one last year using them. A few on here racing early B’s have them.

Only reason I tolerate not having a manual is the fun & novelty the PB provides. At shows, the PB’s attract all sorts of attention. Dads showing them to his kids and grandkids. Lol, that could be changing as newer vehicles have button selectors now. Anyway I’d agree it’s one helluva transmission. Beer sounds great, I'm having my 2nd on this blistering hot day and will appoint this one in celebration of the 727.
