I have aftermarket Crower lifters in my 440. Right bank is making a slight ticking sound. I have purchased valve cover gaskets and will be adjusting the lifters. Anyone know what the torque specs are for lifters

I believe you mean adjusting the valves. First, most Mopars are hydraulic, and do not require adjusting. But, if you have installed adjustable rocker arms, you adjust them to a certain gap on solid lift cams, not torque. If you are running a hydraulic cam with adjustable rockers, you adjust to zero lash, and then another 1/2 to 3/4 turn.

Thanks 69bee. I did mean the rockers. I have zero experience adjusting valve lash in a MOPAR or any car really . Can you recommend any tutorials? How do I measure the lash

Am3rican You need the cam specs for lash. a feeler gauge, Box Wrench, and rachet. Also a good Remote starter button. You should Adjust Cold and reset hot. 1/4 turn past end of ticking is good. Make sure lifters are well lubed if the lifters are new. A spare old valve cover with top cut off will allow you to adjust hot and listen for sound.

First, is the cam a solid lifter cam, or is it a hydraulic lifter cam?

Do you have factory rocker arms? Or aftermarket adjustable?

Well, if you have the factory rockers there is no adjustment. If there is a noise it may need to be run to pump up, if that doesn't do it more diagnosis will be required
