torqueflite kickdown linkage?

has anybody tried to put the '66 and later kick down linkage on a '65 or earlier cable tranny with the one piece kick down rod?

I don't think the 65 trans has the boss for the stud to screw into needed for the 2 piece linkage Will let you know tomorrow!

mine has a threaded boss. not sure if it's in the correct location.

the threaded boss on the 65 trans is in the wrong location. close but no cigar. i guess i'm back to a one piece kick down rod and 65 bb throttle bracket.

I bought a lokar cable set up. Works great if you don't mind it not being stock.
