My 1967 Satellite is an original 383 2bbl car. I’m relatively certain that the front suspension components are original to the car. I have always assumed it had the standard “big block” .960 torsion bars. After owning the car for 24 years, I finally put a caliper on the torsion bars today and was surprised to see a measurement of .882. Is this an .860 bar with .011 of coating and grime on it???

Help me understand what I’m looking at.

That chart is not in line with what I have measured in the real world. That chart looks like replacement bars, not OEM bars installed in the cars when new.
I had .88 bars in the three B body cars that I have owned.

Several A body cars I've had .85 bars that are also not on the list you posted.

.88 bars were used from 62- 72 B body with small blocks, 383 and 400 2 barrel. Post #1 in this thread from 2021 has a good chart.

92 were Hemi, and 96 were " the new bigboys " back in the day.
