Going to test next tune the Wagon tomorrow morning. I have been getting some tools and parts together to take with me, I have way too much stuff... This is my fist time driving my hotrod to the track.. used to have the whole circus- motorhome, enclosed trailer with lots of spare everything and lots of tools to fix just about anything that went wrong...

Not sure I can just show up with a tire Guage, shoe polish and a AAA card either...

So what tools, supplies (wire, hoses, parts, etc...)do you street car guys take with you to the track?

If I had to pick one tool, cordless 14-18volt impact / rattle gun, and your socket set to suit, every nut and bolt will be dealt with quickly.

I was always lucky enough to go to the track with a few friends. The cool thing about the track is that there is always someone willing to help or lend a tool..

Mate , i am paranoid . In my Satellite which i drive to the track this is what i carry on race day . Set of plugs , radiator hoses , assorted handtools ,fanbelt , spare ignition box , coil , msd cap and rotor , spare fuel pump , fuel filter , regulator , B&M shifter cable , throttle cable . I also have a carb spares box that has jets , gaskets power valves etc . And of course a air pump and trolley jack for changing wheels , have electric rattle gun . All fits in the trunk except carb box . I run radial slicks so have to change them at the track .
When i drove interstate i also took a waterpump .
