trans bracket

these are advertised for console shift cars, 68 gtx? my car doesnt have one , should it? where does it go?

Look at the picture here http://www.cnc-motorsports.com/_images/tci/chrysler sizzler trans.jpg and on the tail shaft near the case there is a boss with two holes. This is where the floor shift bell crank support goes. What you show looks like a column shifter bell crank support and it goes on the ear with the hole right behind the starter.
