On my 74 Charger, the cooler line on drivers side broke at the radiator. Is there anyway of fixing the line with instead of replacing it? It twisted/kinked and broke off when trying to undo it drom the radiator.
It should be 5/16 line and if you take the piece to a parts store they should have the line and fitting a little stub is all you need and a piece of rubber line for Atf to the existing line once that is cut of the twist. Use a tubeing cutter so it doesn't leave a burr like a hacksaw.
I've repaired them before. Get a small piece of line to replace that so you have a longer smooth piece. You'll have to flare it. Piece of rubber line with double screw clamps on each piece/side and you should be good to go.
