trans gasket

So I change out the cork tran gasket to the plastic one,did it last night haven't firer ed her up but just took a look yet and no drip,one would think with the pan full of oil if its going to leak or not.wish the 71 luck.

My stuff would always be fine until being driven and parked a couple of times...that'll be the true test. I hope you nailed it trans (all) leaks suck....

Once the cars had time to heat and cool a few times, check your bolts again. Plastic, rubber or cork gaskets will compress and settle even if it's just a bit. If you have a stamped steel pan, make sure it's straight and the bolt holes are not distorted or funneled from previous over tightening.
