Transmission Code Date Question

I have a transmission With the number
PK2801451K 67-68 440 HP
Dated 2436/3-1968
My 68 SuperBee is dated 5-8-1968 but as most know The SuperBee was a 383 car. What's the chance this is still correct for my car?

I'm a little confused.

The numbers displayed in your photo don't match the numbers in your text.
However, in the photo 2659 is the 10,000 date code for when the trans was built
2659 = Thursday, 7 Nov 69
In my opinion. not the trans in the photo that your car was built with.

However
The 2436 number is Friday, 29 March 68
that trans could have been installed in your car in May
but ????

I'm not that familiar with auto trans but check at the top where the trans fits to the engine. On '68s thats were it was stamped (usually)

According to my Info that trans was used on 383 hp, and early 440 hp in 1968.
