Of the external trim pieces on a 69 roadrunner can anyone clarify which parts are stainless steel, pot metal and chrome?
I am trying to plan my bright work restoration and may end up sending all the stainless to one shop and the chrome and pot metal to another.
I have a 69 convertible RR?

Not much trim on a RR
Front and rear windows, drip rails, door/trunk locks are SS
Tail light bezels, door handles, emblems are pot metal
Grill and H/T bezels are anodized aluminum
Belt molding [top of door if optioned] will be SS
Convert trim is SS except the little side piece behide the quarter is pot metal I believe

Me either. The D O D G E lettering is kinda funky and on the R/T the Power Bulge Hood inserts look like pot metal. I still recommend a local person who you can actually talk to. Eliminates damage in shipping too.

normally you can tap on this tuff with your finger and figure it ou pretty fast.thin trim in ss.thick trim and larger peices with thickness will be pot metal.aluminum is used for large flat areas normally.if you pull the peice off you will know for sure.

does anyone have a pic of the small pieces in the rear convertible trim set up that are pot metal?
