The original lineup back out on the road probably for one last time. Coming this summer…One of my favorite band of all time!

Here’s Rik Emmet and Phil X - Lay it on the line
Phil X is not human! Incredible

Rik was a phenominal guitar player even in high school! One of my jamb buddies went to school with him and kept telling me to come listen, this guy is awesome!

Rarely are the singers able to perform in these one last time tours.
Some have singers who can barely talk.

Not sure of the date when this video was recorded, but it's pretty impressive if recent.

Well, I thought this thread was going to be about your old motorcycle.

Both those guys definitely have their chops and are hitting their notes. Can you imagine having two player/singers like that in your band? You might just hit the big time.

Why did the chicken go halfway across the road? She wanted to "Lay it on the Line!"

Recent. Credits in the video...

Rik's doing good for 72. Phil is 59.

Takes me back to the good ol' days head bangin'
driving with the radio turned up to 11

It should be noted that Rik has been suffering from the scurge of prostate cancer for some time now.
I suspect the 30+ year feud between he and the other two original members might have finally been
quelled by that fact.

I wish them all the best - I can still remember "discovering" their first album way back then when nobody
in my circle of friends had any idea who they were.
My best buds were metalheads mostly, so they chided me for bringing this band up to them; I didn't care
because of the unique gifts Rik brought to the table.
It was quite apparent even then the guy was far beyond most "talent" out there at the time...

When I first started playing guitar back in 1983 I would listen to this song trying to figure it out .

Gonna have to go if they are close.

Was my wife's first "request" on the night we met, from my relatively new but already large MP3 collection.

We saw them in Muskegon Michigan in 1984 or 1985.
It was a stunning show, simply amazing talent and delivery.
They carefully rotated the show so the each member in the band could sing the solo on different songs.
It was good stuff.

Just bought tickets.
Show's not 'til May.
Now I gotta figure out what to do about the requirement to DL an app.
I don't do that.
F ticketmaster.

I saw them in 1987.
Great show.
"Battle Zone" style animated comedy and tragedy masks above the stage, that talked to/interacted with the audience.

1980 their stage manager was in one of my Engineering classes. Gave me an audio file album of Rock and Roll machine that I still have..

Lakeland center used to be big business (for that area) in "arena" rock shows.

Last one I saw there was White Zombie.
