I agree,that whole element could have easily been left in the closet where it belongs.

WEll, I did start this thread based on the fact that the site was down for a short time and I couldn't log on. It veered off track from there as these threads sometimes do.
You are correct,personally,I rather just talk about the cars,they already had the look at me thing covered three fold.

So now not to get sidetrack “we” have gotten to garage door rollers fixed and it only took months to pay someone 150 bucks even though we have 1.6m worth of cars in a run down garage in da ghetto.....

That's months as far as we have all been made aware of the garage door problem. My guess is that it's a decades old problem along with the delaminated popcorn ceiling and falling sheetrock.
I am suprised you haven't put your tranny into low gear an drag ged those things home! Maybe you only have reverse!
A Hemi Daytona is the Holy Grail of B-bodies, but I have absolutely zero interest in having that much money into one car. I'm curious to know what's up with the Hemi Road Runner though. The car is partially disassembled and the trunk floor has been repainted. The '69 Bee is loaded with Guido pinstriping & swapping of drivetrains raises lots of suspicion on both cars.
Now, if there was a low mileage turquoise 68 Charger R/T, spring green 69 Charger R/T or plum Crazy 70 Charger R/T, that would spark my interest.
This is about a car, that if we had it, we wouldn't drive it, most don't have the money to buy, so we can say we have it. My father taught me a lot of things and one of them being, It's not about having it, but rather, being able to have it. In most cases with me that makes the desire to want it go away. If that pole smoker didn't spend most of his time bent over, he could see that his life is getting shorter everyday and those cars aren't worth anything to a dead man. My car is good for one thing, driving the **** out of it and all the great memories it brings me. To each their own, I guess.
Those cars look as though they were driven,raced and enjoyed back in the day. The one thing that they have going for them is that they were kept in dry indoor storage, which wasn't the case for most of them. You are right that it is very unlikely that any of us here are buying them.
I could but I won't because I don't want to show any of my bretheren up.
