installing new gas tank and vent trunk lines,i see one line that connects in middle of trunk to tank vent tube, but the other side close to qtr panel that sticks in a hole, should that be left unplugged or should i add a 1/4 rubber hose to it and run it to the other tank vent tube? thanks

Like this, the short vent uses a clip to mount to the shock cross member.

I'm going through this right now on my superbee and 440+6 is correct. The short J shaped line goes straight up behind the shock crossmember . The line bends toward the driver side of car up top then has another little bend that points the exit back toward the ground . In that little straight section up top a metal clip attaches and pushes through a hole on the cross member to hold it in place. I looked for a reproduction of that clip a couple nights ago with no luck. Maybe someone on here has found a good substitute and will chime in.

thanks, but do the short j connects to the other vent on tank?or is it left unconnected? thanks

Both remain OPEN to air. Do NOT connect any hose, let alone, to each other as that will defeat the whole reason for the vent.

Thanks, I will try them on my next order.

Got mine finished up tonight. Once you know how the lines are routed it's actually an easy job.
