It all started with the 68 coronet trunk lids that were prone to be rusted out so a solid one was big money. Now it seems that every B-body trunk lid is worth the same as a b-body Dana 60 rear end. LOL

Just like overpriced eBay auctions that run for years, do these parts ever sell for that?

This is a generalization of what I see happening, it is not aimed at any one item.

Try looking for complete taillights for a 66-300!

I bought a like new ‘68
Charger trunk lid for $20. Back in ‘86. :D

Parts prices are getting as insane as the prices of the cars themselves! I just bought a b body Dana 60,nice piece, recently rebuilt for $2500. Five years ago,at Carlisle I bought one for $1250,and another one for $1100.

I have a rust free 68 Coronet trunk lid I’d love to have the money it would possibly bring. But I need the damn thing for my car.

Off topic but based on cost of replacement had to restore mine.

Try finding a lid for a '69 Plymouth B-body. You can buy a small house for the same money.

I agree. Trunk lids are going for crazy money. I've seen rusty 68 Coronet trunk lids go for hundreds of dollars.

Great news!

I've got a 71 with spoiler nut cut outs to sell.
