Geri sorry I apologize I didn't even look at the name. I shouldn't have used that word in my post.

It's hard to figure people even when you're face to face. When I went to look at my Belvedere it was a Sunday, he showed me the car, which was a shell, all the parts to go with it. We agreed on a price, wrote him a check for a deposit and told him I'd be back Monday with a cashiers check and my trailer. He said well you might as well start hauling your parts home and then said he wasn't busy that day and he'd load his truck and follow me home. He might have done this just to know where I live, but I had half the car home before I paid him. I bought a parts car last fall, parts of it wasn't as nice as the guy told me and he had some extra trim parts to go with it. We dickered a little on the price and I loaded the car on my trailer. When I asked him about the extra parts he told me I couldn't have them at that price. He didn't tell me that until I had paid him and was ready to go. I told him the deal we made included the extra parts, he said he changed his mind. I told him what I thought of him and left. You just never know what you're dealing with, one was a car salesman, the other a fellow farmer. The farmer was the dick with the parts car.

I have sold many items to menbers on this board and others. I also have -given- some small items for just the cost of shipping and so far I have been treated like a friend with the same interests.

When I hear about being cheated or ripped off for a few bucks it makes me see red. But it is a small minority that suck as humans.
Those few jackasses will not cause me to change the way I feel about helping others out that I share the hobby with.

I've done a handful of deals with some members on here and things have not only gone well, a couple have gone above and beyond any reasonable expectation.
I've bought and sold both.
Integrity is a big thing with me; I demand it of anyone I deal with in my work (which involves a LOT of folks in all walks of life) and I hold myself to it as well.
I do tend to trust people the first time, especially in our Mopar world.
An admitted fault is I also tend to remember, not forgive, on the rare case someone is less than stand up.

I'm 55 now and have seen both sides of being alive numerous times at this point.
My dad used to tell me I'd mellow with age and learn to forgive and forget, let things slide.
Well...not so much, Pop. :-)
When I do finally kick the bucket for good here soon one day, folks will remember one thing about me - integrity matters, period.
