Hi, I'm trying to identify the manufacture of my rocker arms on for my 440 1969 GTX.
They are black anodized stamped with 613. 440A 1.5L and 1.5R.
Any assistance would be appreciated and they are mounted side by side with the 1.5L and 1.5R. I thought the L and R would not be side by side but rather all the 1.5L on the driver side and 1.5R on the passenger side. The engine was rebuilt in 2005, but not ran, just sitting on a stand. So before getting it to run I wanted to verify the manufacture as well as question how its installed. All images are from the driver side of the 440
As always thanks

i figured out the l and r markings, would like to know if anyone recognizes the manufacture of them

Indy were the only one's who anodized their rockers black that I'm aware of.

These tabs are going to gouge the **** out of the rockers. Spend the money on some decent aftermarket steel holddowns and throw those things in the trash. Harland Sharp, Hughes, etc.

Pretty sure the black rockers are made (and color anodized) for Indy, by Dove manufacturing. Not garbage, not the best.
I would agree with changing the stand hold-downs. But I'd go with quality aluminum holddowns with steel shims between the holddowns and rockers.

Yes sir. Your the best !!!, I did yank them off since the roller were not aligned very well and with the OEM hold downs there was no wiggle room clearance, they were rubbing as you indicated, so i just ordered PRW shaft-mount rocker arm hold-down kit. Thankyou for helping out and preventing me from this head ache down the road. Have a super evening.
