Anyone done any, what's involved, pitfalls. Well I know what's involved, just interested if anyone's done it in a home mechanic environment .

I had a shop do most of mine but I plan on doing my other car myself. I'm not a professional welder by any stretch of the imagination so finished product may not be as nice but would certainly be cheaper and more rewarding.

Nice!, A Turbo'ed, Fuel injected, Wagon. I like it. When b body trunk space is not enough, you need to step up to a wagon.
View attachment 562625 View attachment 562627 We've done our own 360 with truck manifolds turned around backward. Even ran it on a stock 1991 360 with only forged pistons and a reground stock hyd roller. You need to figure out the plumbing, what type of waste gate. We run no intercooler, blow thru carb, and use E85 for fuel. It requires a lot of thought and design but not impossible. Our first time at the track netted a 10.99 with a 2.76 gear@3800lbs+. With a learning curve , Eddy heads, bigger cam, 3.55 it's been 9.55@142@3775lbs.
