I need a source for chrome or nickel plated dog point screws 10-24x3/4" for mounting the turn signals to the front bumper on my 1969 Dodge Coronet. Local hardware stores (Ace, Lowes, Home Depot, Fastenal) sell zinc plated non dog point screws. Same with most aftermarket vendors. Like, MrGUSA, RT Specialties.

Thanks, FBBO

i got a set for my car by asking a guy who was parting out a 4 door.
you should place a wanted ad on here and fish around for used.
i doubt you will find them new as I tried and gave up.

I thought about that. However, I need 4 that can be shined up and the heads are not stripped like mine.

So, I bought some stainless screws at Lowes yesterday. I think the originals were nickel or chrome. It's impossible to find dog pointed screws with the correct heads and finish. Since these screw directly into the turn signal housings I just have to be extra careful when starting the threads. They should match the chrome bumper closer than the zinc plated screws.
