Did anyone fine a true fix for a working none working turn signal switch ?

No. NOS is the way to go or a good used one. You can try a repop one but there's a 90% chance it won't work, regardless of the price you pay. Slantsixdan had some newly manufactured ones that were good but he is running into roadblocks having more made.

I did a write up on repair of my 66 Charger turn signal switch. Might be a similar switch to what you have ??
Here's the link.. Dropbox
You can down load this PDF by using the down pointing arrow on the upper right of the Drop Box link page. You don't need to log in to download it.

Is it just the canceling cam that is broken? Or is it a wiring issue?

If there is no plastic pieces broken, I would give it a shot to repair, take it out, clean all the gummed up grease, check all your elec connections, bend/adjust all the metal parts/springs, regrease, reassemble. I would try this before buying an expensive NOS one. The ones ive seen have been $300-$400 and up. I lucked out recently and got an NOS one for $150 on fleabay

I might have a good used one. I pulled a steering column out of my pile the other day looking for other parts. I think it came out of a 65 car I had. I just need the plastic plug part for my 69 Charger. I’ll need to test it somehow before I can sell you the switch part. It appeared intact.

The plug part won't be the same.
