Sometime in the 70’s I bought a jobber signal replacement switch. About 7.95$. Still worked on the car when it was retired. Think it would still work today.

So how is it that only @Slantsixdan sells them?

Because I had an arrangement with a supplier who supplied these switches to Chrysler. That is no longer the case, unfortunately. I'm out of the good turn signal switches and it looks as though I probably won't be able to get more, and I refuse to handle the Chinese junk that's already all over the internet. So at least for now, I can do excellent upgrades for the headlamps, brake lights, etc…but no turn signal switches.

I’ve gone through 3 units so far for my 1970. The last one I got said original manufacturer but it’s sloppy and no longer returns. It will probably totally fail soon.

I think there is one place in China making these and a lot of marketing BS.

I haven’t figured out where the issues are in these switches but it’s probably material. I’ve worked with Chinese manufacturers for years and if they can save one penny and make it really shitty they’ll do it. Unfortunately, Denning and Juran never made it there.

Unfortunately, printing the parts that fail wouldn’t be any better because the plastic 3D printing materials still suck.

The only good replacement is an NOS replacement. This is one area where you buy once, cry once. Any of the aftermarket switches (especially the yellow ones) are junk. Bad plastic, thin.

Are 70 switches different from 68-69? Your car has ignition in the column, correct?

1970 switches are totally different than 68 & 69's.
