Well I received the radiator from Engineered Cooling Products, part#2375s. Watched the UPS driver get off the truck with one in each hand!
Should have kept my mouth shut but that's not the way I was raised. I said I had only ordered one, and he replied with they were double shipping labels, take your pick. So I chose the box with less scuffing and he is sending the other one back.
Then I called Frank at ECP and told him what took place.

Not a bad looking radiator for the money, $250. including shipping. Fins are a little roughed up from shipping. Welds look good, heavy material used in the tanks. Not epoxied, inside the tanks are clean, free of slag ect. Top tank isn't perfectly square with the bottom but not noticeable. Bolts right up for the exception of the lower right bolt. Bracket is for the newer body, shorter but an easy fix. Fan shroud brackets are on the outer portion of the core, so no bolts or screws in the rods. Also it is one inch shorter than factory. I'll probably split the difference. All in all, its cheaper than a re-rod and the one I took out weighs about 80 lbs!

Good for you. I can't even remember how many times I did the "right thing", when I coulda got-over.

Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is looking...You, sir, have cornered the market!

Thank You.

Nice looking rad. What would you have done with 2 anyway? Well I guess you could have sold it - but doing the right thing feels better than a couple hundred bucks.....

When I ordered the EFI system for my project I was specific and adamant that I did not need the 4bl throttle body and was not charged for it.--- (it was not cheap)--
So guess what.----I called them and they were thankful that I sent it back at their shipping cost.
Doing the right thing is what makes this world work with smiles on both sides of a transaction.

Thanks guys, just following a "family tradition".

When things like this happens, I always look at it as a test. And we all get tested daily!

Well done...honesty is the best policy.

Has anybody seen Justin from ecp posting lately?
I never accept an overchange. I never accept a bill with consecutive 3 or more sixes,,,, buy something else on a re ring up.
Bonus, when i bought my lexus motor from Rancho Toyota Recycling(yes, this a deserved plug)in Ranch Cordoba, Cali, the engine i negotiated for was in car that had just arrived...They would run & leak check, it, then pull. A grand plus only 150.00 shipping.
They discoveted after the fact that car had been overheated badly, intake cams belts burned off....they had another 97 long block that had been run & leakdown checked, w same approx miles, 125k. They sent me both engines for the same 1150.00 dollahs! KARMA! We tore apart the heated motor....intakes were bent, all else pristine, factory hone lines still visible in cans, no ridging at decks....mill head & block decks.....great to go. Six bolt main motors. Honesty pays back exponential

My mom gave me a good piece of advice when I started my business 15 years ago....don't get greedy. Good job mr. Kid.

Been there done that. It's only the right thing to do. Now, if I can figure out how to make this happen, on the end where the crook inhabits.

Have you ever taken notice that crooks get by with breaking the law time after time and never get caught. If you or I would try to steal a candy bar, a cop would be right there watching!

Crooks live their lifes working their creative powers to be crooks.-- A misplaced application of their power to make it to old age and enjoy the one time ticket we have.

Because the crooks have no concience of it all, but We do, & if We do the slightest deviation to normal practice of right.....down in flames....then We are dubble reinforced not to cross that line.
