Anyone ever use one of Harold Brookshire's SFT cams? I'm looking at a 294/298 276/271 on a 108 with .650/.620 lift for my 511. Currently going 10.06@134 and looking for more. This cam has the NF63 NF64 lobes. Thanks

What do you see that looks out of place? These are the specs that Tim@Bullet gave me.Might want to double check those specs.
NF63 - [email protected], [email protected], .4058 lobe lift
NF64 - [email protected], [email protected], .4134 lobe lift
good luckWhat do you see that looks out of place? These are the specs that Tim@Bullet gave me.
I’m using a 1.6/1.5 combo.a .4058 with a 1.5:1 ratio rocker = .6087 gross valve lift. not including lash
you had 0.650 lift mentioned
good luck
I’m using a 1.6/1.5 combo.
I figured actual lift with lash would be about .633" on the intake.0.4058 x 1.6 =0.64928" gross valve lift not including lash
makes a difference for damn sure 10%

The exhaust mention is often true and if found otherwise, IE; more lower is made, there is probably something that could be improved. A minor pick up is one thing, pick up a bunch.... that’s another.I use a 1.6 rocker on intake and 1.5 on the exhaust. The exhaust gas is under high pressure when it opens and empties the cylinder without issue. The intake valve needs all the help it can get getting the cylinder filled. That's why you always see the exhaust valve smaller than the intake valve. A 1.6 rocker on exhaust side has been found to improve nothing.
Harolds cams are aggressive. This one has 5* more duration at .200 than my current comp cam(270/276@50 .640 110)The exhaust mention is often true and if found otherwise, IE; more lower is made, there is probably something that could be improved. I have a W5 small block I’m building with a NF split cam.
*I Think* I have the same lobes as well. I’d have to dig it up. It’s a slow process.
Staying tuned to this....
