I can’t believe someone can rig this like they did some one spliced into the harness but connected wire and then hooked it up to the ignition switch then filed the back with silicone then taped it up they never hooked up the ground that comes from the back of the switch so when I undid there mess I could see what color wire went where can someone please tell me the colors from the harness and where they go on the switch oh yeah it for a 67 Coronet R/T
Thanks Vinny

Yellow wire from switch goes to starter relay on the firewall.
Brown wire goes to the ballast resistor on the passenger side firewall
Red is main power
The violet colored wires are both on one connector that feed the water temp sender. The other wire that comes off goes to the brake warning light.
Go to the link in the above post and download the wiring diagrams for 1967. CoronetA and CoronetB are the 2 you need but each year downloads all of that years makes. Or this is a direct link to the 1967 download. https://www.mymopar.com/downloads/wiringdiagrams/1967Wiring.zip

Looks shady, I’d replace it if parts available from Mopar

The ignition looks new it’s the wires they spliced from the harness to the ignition switch that I need to now the colors and we’re in the switch they go
Vinny also there’s are free wire diagrams at mymopar.com for future reference if neeeded

What color goes to BAT and what color goes to GRN and what color goes to ACC and what color goes to IGN 2 and what color goes to IGN 1 and what color goes to ST that the information I need is what colors go to the back of the switch

Following diagram, the violet signal is a ground signal for a light test to the brake failure warning light on cluster. An splice into the brake fluid dist block switch wiring warning you if floats on a pressure fail (leak) to the brake system. I guess a light test while cranking.

Nothing to do with temp network, which is a gauge, not a light.

Probably got melted/broken the switch plug.

I think it’s available nowdays as repro. If not, pretty sure all Mopars on those years used the same up to 69. So you can get it rebuilt either with a new part or an used one.

Contact Evan’s wiring harness since they work on Mopar repro harnesses. I don’t think M&H who also does Mopar Harness repros got some personalized attention for customer being a bigger business. (Just thinking out loud)

On a side note, the ground for the cluster brake light test is taken from chassis, not wired. Ign switch doesn’t require a ground to work.

Red, batt/alt input
Blue, ign1 (run stage)
Brown, Ign2 (start stage… ballast bypass)
Black, Acc (run stage)
Yellow, starter relay (start stage)
Violet, ground for brake cluster light circuit test (should work on start stage)
