The 440 was built by Roy
Paolo with PRW roller valve train, lunati hyd. Roller cam, JE pistons & rings, Edelbrock top with beehive valve springs, Doug's headers. Steel crank & six pack rods. It is cooled with a Griffith radiator and dual electric fans, runs at 175 with nothing getting it hotter. It's madien voyage around the big country block had the 20 year old tires begging for mercy. Got a set of red lines for it, still deciding what wheels to go with. If you use the griffith radiator the upper hose is a napa 8226, cut the one end off for the perfect reach. Next the interior, paint then wheels & tires then new trim then we'll go lay more hash! The clutch linkage is all done with Hime joints as pictured. On the list for a Passon A855... come on Jamie!

From the engine to that great looking differential she looks SWEET!!!

Thx for posting some pretty pics of a sweet ride. Bet you can't wait to strut your stuff on the street when she's all done.

Thanks, it has been lots of fun.20140329_152905.jpgI had to sell my 1965 Satellite to fund this project, that hurt.

Yeah that sucks that you had to get rid of a beauty to build a beauty. The reality is, it stinks that we are t made of money, or lottery winners, or have rich relatives lol. But none the less,, nice start to what is goin to be a sweet ride! I would love to know more about the motor, even part numbers. Thanks again for a great post

Roadrunner69440,
You wanted more engine info... the pistons are JE 2B455, SIWS 8 4350 S, the Lunati came kit is a 2033071 w/515 & 530 lift, heads Edel 60929, the rocker kit 3244011the studs, shaft and rockers I believe were PRW, push rods were Smith brothers NH38a bb, valve springs had part number 20120 16 not sure what brand but there were spendy! I took all of this off the receipt, he is known more for his engines than his hand writting.20140911_173058.jpg

Thanks, that helps a lot ! They look like a good set of rockers . Rollers scare me tho, I was working on a relatives race car one day and snapped the throttle and just as I did , the pin came out of the roller, popped the roller out , reased the keepers and BOOM!!! Head, piston, valve ,instantly JUNKED!
