Hey
I recently struggled to remove the upper ball joints in my 64 Belvedere
I saturated mine with trans fluid and let it sit a couple days , then got a longer hefty chisel and walloped the one corner of the old ball joint to jar it in the counter clockwise direction - it spun out with the socket after with relative ease
If that doesn’t budge it , you could try heating it with a butane torch
