My wife's car has the March set up, there is not a tensioner in the system, but there is an idler.I was looking at the March pulleys, alternator and crank only and just route it like that, I don’t think I would need a idler, right? It’s up in the air I’m still working on the car and collecting parts so just something I’ve been thinking about.
Proper tension it achieved with a turn buckle with a heim joint on each end. One attaches to the altenator the other to the wp bolt.
Have never had any issues, have to tighten the belt every now and then due to stretch.
I have the complete set up for my 440, can't wait to put it on!
