Vacuum secondaries

I just rebuilt/cleaned my carb and when going back on the vacuum secondary sits on the intake. Did I reinstall the secondary wrong or is this just a carb spacer situation now? This carb has never been ran with this engine so no prior reference point.

Needs a carb spacer.

You will also probably need the spacer for the fuel line to clear the choke well.

If you’re using the electric choke why not remove the divorced choke provision from your intake? A couple minutes with a cutoff wheel would easily take care of it.
