Anyone ever make or have one that they can share pics/dimensions? Thinking something simple like a carb stand.
In the over 50 years of rebuilding transmissions, I never thought about a stand or the need for one. I can take a TF VB down to all the parts, mix them up and reassemble everything correctly. Not so the with the foreign trannys (Ford & GMs) but, I have books for them too.

I have 3 books for reference (including FSM). Sometimes none of them are clear - for instance the ends of the 2 sealing rings on the governor in my other post.Find s good book for what you have.
That always fun to do. Where the heck fid that ball go to now has occurred.I use aluminum jaws in a vise when to hold the valve body vertical. Clamped with the rooster comb pointing up. Makes it easy to remove and install the pressure regulator cage, spring, and detent spring/ball.

Five FSM's, three pacific built manuals and a complete parts manual if in doubt. One Chrysler trans bible and complete training manual. One what to do on the cheap book for before performance parts were common. They all show things a bit different. Depending on the year things do change. Even upon application things change.I have 3 books for reference (including FSM). Sometimes none of them are clear - for instance the ends of the 2 sealing rings on the governor in my other post.
