Hey guys! I'm trying to figure out what nuts hold the driver's side fresh air vent to the cowl. The only thing I have found that threads on the stud are steel thread cutting nuts. The issue I found with those are they won't clear because the flange is too large. Any help will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance.

Thanks Dave! I'm working in a 68 Sport Satellite convertible. That's exactly what I needed to see. My car was blown apart when I got it 20+ years ago so putting it together is an adventure. Thanks again!!

Aren't they 10-32? You can use those stamped tin nuts too. Thought mine were 10-32 nuts with an attached star washer.

I cant remember for sure
But they are either 10-24 or 10-32 and most sheetmetal pal nuts with the standard washer work just fine

Your welcome. Drove through your town last year with the motor home pulling one of my Darts on the way to Oklahoma City last year. Planning on Bristow meet in October, hopefully! If I can remember, have to look you and your car up!
