It's more than a bit sad what's going on now with that MS welfare thing. Not something anyone, anywhere would have ever thought Favre would have gotten himself mixed-up in. I truly hope it's not all true. He was truly one of the greatest, and without a doubt the toughest QB ever to play the game of football. Pearlman's now telling people not to buy his book because of all of that mess. Very sad.

Finding it hard to take in as well. I doubt he's savvy with all things financial, funding, I mean he never struck me as a banker, lol. Maybe he just listened to people saying how they could get the volleyball bld constructed appropriating gov funds for it 'no problem' thing, it's done all the time. Think this **** happens more than we hear about everywhere. His texts are damning though, giving me the impression he was lead on that this would be no problem; but had some concerns about it. TBC..

been quite a while since the fudge PACKERS sniffed the super bowl, they do however lead the league in recent early playoff exits

Yeah - Somehow I knew all this was coming. The Vikes looked pathetic - the score wasnt even representative of the whooping they took. They made Jalen Hurts look like a rock star. Maybe he will be I don't know. I'm not sure I've ever seen the Vikes look so poorly on both sides of the ball. But hey we crunched the Packers - That maybe our one game season. If it was - so be it.

Go ahead guys bring it on - I can take it.....

No I think that was Jack Tatum (raiders)....I could be wrong as those days are fuzzzy...but he was another beast of the backfield.
What I do remember is Ronnie laying out Mark Bavaro..and knocking Icky "shuffle" Woods on his Edison High School (my rival) A$$ in the superbowl against the Bengals...and many more.

You know I believe you're correct. I do recall it being a Raider head hunter. Frankly couldn't remember who Lott played for - but I do recall it being a Raider that did the deed on Stingley. And Tatum sounds right.

I was at the snowball game....no ****......it snowed all night into Sunday ......it was 1989, actually named the Bounty Bowl......because a few weeks earlier on Thanksgiving, Buddy Ryan put a bounty on the cowgirl's kicker, who the Eagles released a week earlier. Eagles won both games..... I was in the endzone lower level, about 40 feet from the tunnel to the visitor locker room........Jimmy Johnson got pelted with snowballs...... we were all throwing them.... LMFAO......... I bought a Bounty Bowl sweatshirt in the parking lot

The Bounty Bowl was the name given to two NFL games held in 1989 between the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys. The first, a 1989 Thanksgiving Day game in Dallas, was noted for allegations that the Eagles put a $200 bounty on Cowboys kicker Luis Zendejas, who had been cut by Philadelphia earlier that season. The second was a rematch held two weeks later in Philadelphia. The Eagles, who were heavy favorites to win both games, swept the series.

Bounty Bowl II​

The second game in the series took place on December 10, 1989, with NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue in attendance. The game was anticipated as a media event. CBS Sports did a pre-game opening touting the contest as "Bounty Bowl II", complete with wanted posters, the involved players' pictures, and bounty amounts.

During the game, Eagles' fans threw snowballs, ice, and beer onto the field. Several game participants were targeted, including back judge Al Jury and Cowboys punter Mike Saxon (both struck by snowballs), as well as Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson, who was hit with objects as he was escorted off the field by the Philadelphia Police Department. Television announcers Verne Lundquist and Terry Bradshaw were also pelted with snowballs – Lundquist would claim on-air that a recent dental surgery had been less unpleasant than broadcasting a game in Philadelphia[7
