Please could anyone decode the VIN on my '78 Fury 440 police car, I can't find any info on what the first 2 letters RL refer too.

Try looking under the rear seat cushion between the seat springs and seat foam. There are a bunch more codes on the Broadcast Sheet than on the fender tag.

My 78 Monaco had stuff under the back seat, and also some goodies under the carpet itself. Some extra bolts and doo dads, but I found the computer "punch card" as well under there.

I haven't had chance to look for the Broadcast Sheet yet but I will when I get the car back.
