Here is the nicest 340 Block I have ever found!
Sitting in my shop for 30+ years.
It is Hot Tanked/Oven Baked.
The align bore is perfect
It sonic tested great
They Deck test very Square.
It Standard Bore and very low mileage
I was going to bore it .020 but some people would
possible say Hone and run it.
It appears never been apart before I acquired it.
Dated: 1/5/70
I ended up going .060 over on all my race engines and this
block was way too nice to overbore like that = so there it sits!

I am going to Missouri from Nevada to deliver and pickup a couple engines
for my son and could deliver it along the way saving shipping.
i can go I40/I44 one way and I 70 the other way.

I did but I sold one to one of my Christian Brothers on this site!
I have several others that are cheaper but they are 030 or need to
be bored to that or more! But they are all sonic tested and most
Acid Washed or Hot Tanked. However, None are less than $750.
Most have been in the shop for 30 to 40 years but at 75 and with my
health it is unlikely that I will build a bunch more!
I have the one Standard listed above of the very best ones left that is described in the ad.
However, there is a deal in progress, and some other guys interested in that one.
At 75 my racing and engine building are very sadly coming to a close.
Most of my spare parts are for sale (5000' Shop)
