Had a new Bahama Yellow 1971 Road Runner I drove as a teen. Now I want to paint my 1972 Satellite Sebring Plus project the same color. Who can tell me which paint type and brand will make the best factory match? I was thinking just acrylic enamel one stage like the original factory paint would make the best match, but I have seen some internet pictures of vehicles that did not look correct (could have been the camera or lighting conditions). This color is not very common/popular so I don't know of anyone around who has real knowledge in this area. I know the codes are as follows: Bahama Yellow L5, Chrysler DT 2462, Ditzler PPG 2325, Dupont 5267L, 5267A, 5267D. My two questions are: #1) Why does Dupont show 3 different suffixes? #2) Which brand and code will give me the results I am looking for? Hopefully, the answers to the above will come from only members who have the personal experience of working with this color on a restoration. Thank you, anxious to get started today!
