WANT TO START A POLL FOR COLOR TO PANT MY CAR

Chrysler had the best colors back then and still do today.

Look at some of the new colors too. There are some modern high impact colours today that would look really good on it.

Newer cars...Holy ****. I am amazed at the mindless BORG that accept a mundane color for their daily driver. I have always driven something with a standout color. Unless you are a criminal trying to blend in, why drive boring ?

It's not just the color, but the styling (or lack thereof) also. Nearly every sedan today has the same generic melted bar of soap look. Until you see the brand emblem, you can't tell one brand of car from another. And that same look carries over into NASCAR.

GY8 is not a bad color when fresh but I am a little biased also..

Are you planning on pulling the motor? I went with a more modern color when I painted my 68 X. It’s a matching numbers car but I just like some of the modern pearls more than I like 50 year old paint schemes. Many have said do what you like - That’s my vote too. Screw the perfectly period correct unless you really like it. I get soooo many compliments on the color of my car and I love what it looks like. If someone has a hang up about not being a stock color when I go to sell it - then they don’t have to buy it. What you like is what’s most important.

If done correctly that car looks good any color. If it were mine I would do blue with white.
(Although, it was hard to take my eyes off the forest green).
