A Hispanic dude got his truck stolen and he really wanted it back so he told police his 13 year-old niece was kidnaped with the truck. She was actually safe at home, he just want the police to quickly find his truck. They did, and the found the girl at her home. He's being charged with a bunch of crimes.

What an idiot. I've only received a couple. One, i believe earlier this year was a kidnapping and murder/murders?? out of Tri Cities, Washington. Everyone's phones went off about 11:30pm and woke us all up. Those alerts are pretty damn loud and will wake you right out of a deep sleep. That one turned out to be real. Guy got spotted later and into a shootout with the cops. He lost.

You can turn them off. What are you going to do about it at 11:30 PM in your bedroom?

I would like to have stolen car alerts on my phone. The police are not going to look for your car if someone steals it, might as well get some help from people that might actually look for it. My truck was stolen and the police have called me four years in a row asking me if I have found it.
