We lost another Legend - Arlen Vanke Passed Away

Won the '68 Nats with NO major sponsorship!
 
back in 2012 when I won a N/ss championship Arlen was there and got in my pictures, at one point he said thank you for letting be in your pictures , I looked at him an said are you kidding me? Thank You for honoring me by being in my pictures. that's the kind of gentleman he was!

Lets not forget the 'paint by Greg'on all Arlen's cars. He died a couple yrs ago I think.
 
Another good guy gone to race at the bigs in the sky. RIP.

Greg died April 5,2007 new him also, another fine painter out of Akron most of the painters have either died or are close to the end .[ATTA
