I would like to replace the roof rail, and door weatherstrip on my 69 RR hardtop. I have done some research and have come up with two manufactures to use Softseal and Metro. Can someone recommend what type you have used on the same vehicle.

I am also replacing the window outer whiskers. I have come up with Top Cat and First Place. Any recommendations on which will fit better.

I am looking for something that fits exact.

Thanks

I have used a couple or 3 different brands over the years,
the {super soft } is what it claims , compression is good and most case's you will not have to go through the break in faze.
down side is it is not as dense of foam and prob wont last as long as {steele} brand they have about the most durable seal/ weather strip. but you dang near have to re adjust your door latch / catch during the break in time.
{soff seal} is pretty much a middle ground between the two others.
just my experience........... others may have different ideas.

we have used all three on several classic car paint jobs, I have the soff seal brand on my 67.
