Hey guys, I had a wicked idea a couple of years ago that started something. Now, I cant wait to get this project started. I'm thinking of one of two combinations. I know that I definitely want a 67/68 Coronet coupe, A-833, and either a 370 Hemi stroker (from a 5.7) with a GT42.71R turbo set to about 15 pounds of boost. Or, a compound turbo instead. The thing with the compound turbo setup will be hella complicated but I would have a completely linear N/A power curve but tons of power, and well below the curve of....say.....a 1000 hp Supra. Big turbos LOVE long gears so that's why I want the A-833. I'm already aware that I need to straight cut the gears, get an adapter plate, clutch, suspension etc but I need to figure out lots of things.
Oh and the car scene is enormous where I live, 1000hp Supras take names all day long, there are also tons of blown v8s but I havent seen an old school muscle car with new school turbo tech etc. I have this vision in my head and it won't go away. I have no other choice, I have to do it. Oh and currently daily driving a 2009 Challenger R/T.
