Well Racers, Got my 65 Satellite to the point that I need some advice on,It will be Street/Strip, Want to go with Weld Draglites. What size on front and back? Thinking 7" front, 8" rear, Also backspace for each. What size tires can I go with, Car is not tubbed. Thanks in advance

Are the springs moved in board? If so, you can fit 15x10 w/6.5 bs welds on the back. On those rims I have 29x10.5W tires mounted. I don't like such a wide tire in front. I know this is for the street but a thinner tire looks killer and if you aren't road racing it a 4.5/5" tire would be fine for normal cruising. This is just my opinion though.

I got a full set that would fit exactly in your car. was in my 63 Plymouth with no mini tubs, stock wheel wells.

15 x 3.5 front
15 x 10 6.5 back spacing rear

scratch the rear idea on mine then. 15 x 8.5 with 4.5 backspace you can fit a 30x10.00 rear tire

Like that, Dumb question ( not much of a tire guy). So the rims on back are 15x 8.5". And fronts are 15x 3.5". Correct? That's a narrow rim up front
What are the actual size of tires F&R. Thanks

unless your just a street car, then go bigger up front. but most racers use 3.5 fronts.
You are in the race section. correct

Thanks, as it wil be Steet, Will go with 7" up front
8.5 rear 4.5 offset

I got the 15x4 for my fronts that's all the summit brand of centerline had. And 15x10 in the rear but I relocated my springs

I have a 64 Sport Fury, so our wheel wells are the same. For rears, use a 15x8 1/2 with a 4 1/2 inch back spacing. Tires are 275/60/15. Fronts, I went with a 6 inch wheel. No offset. I think the tires are 225/70/15. you need a tall front tire to fill the wheel well.

Thanks Furyus and all others. Got it now
