Well, color me surprised!

Sunday I traveled with a couple of friends to a big gun shop about an hour away. Along the way, next to the interstate, I could see that they were getting warmed up for some drag racing at a local track. At that time the drivers and such were just getting to the track. It was a great day. Perfect day for racing.

On the trip back from the gun show, I could see in the distance that the place was rocking ! When we were passing the track I saw my Charger in the cue. I pointed it out to my buddies. It stood out to me like the little kid in the red coat in that famous scene from “Schindler’s List “. I texted the fellow who had bought it. He was having a great time running heats ! He heaped tons of praise on me for building such a strong machine. After he got back from the track, we had text exchanges for over an hour. He invited me to come watch him at Mopars Days in June. Apparently he has a lot of folks/friends that want to meet me. He must have talked me up good…lol ! Anyway, it is on my calendar!

….and it case you are wondering…I will not be accepting any build requests ! LoL

Well it's great to hear that the car is getting used.
After all your time and tribulations with it.
Still a bit disappointed to see it changed hands.
I always say that they don't do anyone much good sitting in a garage.

I did not get a new gun….this time ! My friend was looking for a specific pistol for his wife. I found 2. He bought the better of them.
I already have 3 competition guns, I am good for now ! I might win a CZ at the NM Sectionals in September….of course I may not win it either…haha
