You have a C body air cleaner and Non HP heads, likely 516 heads.
Those chrome covers are 68 only.

A12 would be all orange.

Are you putting a 6bbl on it?

Please enlighten me. All 67 440 GTX'S had chrome valve covers and the picture doesn't show all details, because I can't see the drivers rear corner good enough. From the picture provided how can you tell they aren't 915 hp heads. I'll agree on the air cleaner, but it is the next best thing for a correct look.

Well I thought the same on the valve covers and I knew the air cleaner wasn’t correct but as far as the heads go I haven’t pulled the covers off to check numbers I did check the tab on the block,I have a video of it running I bought it so I could just drop it in and drive my car. The head comment was from the gentlemen known as R413.

Since the engine is a 440 Super Commando, out of a 1967 GTX, it would have the HP heads, with larger exhaust valves and closed chambers. The air cleaner and chrome valve covers are also correct 1967 GTX. The non-HP air cleaner more commonly seen on C-body has a different, taller air cleaner centre section that will not accept a pie tin. An A12 engine would be orange.

Thanks I was getting a little confused with the air cleaner,it also has 516 heads on it,the block is a HP as is the intake and exhaust manifolds,Don

I don’t think that’s a C body air cleaner either. But Im no expert.
