The roof rail weatherstrip channel or the long, black interior metal trim strip that covers the edge of the headliner? How many retaining clips are needed for this trim strip?

I put the channel up first. Do I need to remove it or just loosen it to get the other long trim piece in?

The channel goes up first. No need to loosen or remove. The strip takes 6 clips per side. Spread them a bit so they stay put in the strip. Make sure they go on the right way.

Oh yeah ... the windshield pillar moldings go on before those strips.

Thanks! That’s what I thought but the clips didn’t want to go in between the channel and the body. I’ll try to loosen the channel and see if that helps. In my case, the pillar moldings won’t fit due to the cage. I’ll have come up with a solution to finish them off.
